SEQ1 licence and AI credit terms

1. What you are buying

A SEQ1 licence lets you sign in to SEQ1 Studio and SEQ1 Sessions with a SEQ1 key. AI credit is a prepaid balance that is spent when you use SEQ1's AI features. The licence fee is not added to your credit.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling on the buy page before you pay. Paying in Bitcoin takes the stated discount off the price.

2. Your balance does not expire

Your AI credit does not expire. It only goes down when you use it, at the price shown for each SEQ1 model. SEQ1 never lets a balance fall below zero: when your credit runs out, AI requests stop until you top up.

3. Refunds and deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting it revokes every key and refunds your unused balance.

If a payment is taken and no key or credit arrives, contact us through seq1.net and we will put it right.

4. Keys and caps

Your key is a secret. Anyone who has it can spend your balance. You can make more keys, revoke any of them, and set a daily or monthly spending cap on each key from your account page. Tell us straight away if you think a key has leaked, and revoke it yourself in the meantime.

5. Acceptable use

Use SEQ1's AI features lawfully. Do not use them to make or spread illegal content, to harass or deceive people, to infringe other people's rights, to attack or overload SEQ1 or the AI providers behind it, or to resell access. We may stop a key that is used this way.

6. Your prompts go to third-party AI providers

When you use an AI feature, what you send (text prompts, and audio for voice and transcription) is passed on through SEQ1 to third-party AI providers who generate the answer. Do not send anything you are not happy for those providers to process.

SEQ1 keeps a usage record for each request: the time, the model, the number of tokens and the charge. It does not keep the content of your prompts or answers in that record. The providers handle your content under their own terms and privacy policies.
